Drive It Day 2025

A big thank you to Sue and George for arranging our Drive It Day excursion to Hilliers Garden Centre at Aldermaston. It was a very scenic drive to Aldermaston with the roof down and sun shining. Climbing out of Overton through miles of yellow fields the smell from the rapeseed wafted into the cars. It was a shame only two Austins could make it plus Peter and Jackie in their Bentley. We had morning coffee followed by a pleasant lunch before wending our way back to Overton. Both the 10/4 and the 7 made impressive climbs up Ashford Hill and White Hill with little to chose on performance. 

It was probably inevitable we would be down on numbers as there are so many Drive It Day events to choose from but those who went to Aldermaston had a very enjoyable day.
